Churches of Christ Care Pathways hosts a series of seminars
Churches of Christ Care will be hosting a series of seminars on child care and behaviour, from August 1-4 this year. The seminars, called Trauma, loss and attachment (Implications for therapy and parenting) will be lead by Kim Golding, a consultant clinical psychologist with a longstanding interest in parenting.
Kim specialises in collaborating with parents or carers to develop their parenting skills, tailored to the particular needs of the children they are caring for. The seminars will take place at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, in Brisbane. Prices vary depending on how many seminars are attended.
There will be four seminars over four days including the following:
- Trauma and attachment: Supporting children children who have experienced developmental trauma leading to difficulties in attachment
- Attachment theory: Its application to adolescence and young adulthood
- Working therapeutically with children with attachment difficulties
- Dyadic developmental psychotherapy with children with attachment difficulties.
